It's made at the Butterworks Farm on-farm creamery in Westfield, Vermont. The farm raises cows on mountain pastures and uses milk from their own herd to make all of their cultured dairy products.
Butterworks Farm kefir is fermented using live microorganisms and yeast, giving it the active cultures associated with traditionally made kefir. Check the product label for the full cultures list.
