Butterworks Farm kefir is fermented using live microorganisms and yeast, giving it the active cultures associated with traditionally made kefir. Check the product label for the full cultures list.
It's made at the Butterworks Farm on-farm creamery in Westfield, Vermont. The farm raises cows on mountain pastures and uses milk from their own herd to make all of their cultured dairy products.
Maple kefir is great on its own as a drinkable snack, or you can use it as a base for smoothies. Its light sweetness from real maple syrup means it blends well with fruit without needing added sugar.
