Everything must fit inside with the seal fully closed. Batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, vapes, CRT monitors, large appliances, and anything dirty or wet cannot be accepted.
Small electronics often contain hazardous materials like lead and lithium that need specialist handling, as well as valuable metals that can be recovered and reused. Standard recycling systems aren't set up to process them safely, so they typically end up in landfill if thrown in a regular bin.
Fill it up before returning! A fuller bag means fewer trips and more efficient processing. No rush, jst collect until it's ready to go.
