Brightside Brew

Brightside Brewing Co. began in Emily’s kitchen in 2023 during a time of personal transformation. Seeking relief from the midlife challenges many women face, she made the decision to cut out alcohol—but missed the ritual of a happy hour drink. She began brewing kombucha at home, hoping it would support her well-being. What started as a personal experiment quickly turned into a passion for creating vibrant, unique flavors to share with friends and family. As she approached 50, Emily felt a strong pull to change careers and pursue something more fulfilling. BrightSide officially launched in July 2024. Her son Tom joined the business that fall, bringing his skills to the growing operation. Together, they’ve built a brand rooted in wellness, creativity, and connection. The community support has been incredible, and BrightSide continues to grow thanks to that love and enthusiasm. We’re thrilled to join the Modern Milkman family and look forward to a bright and collaborative future ahead.
