Liuzzi’s rich legacy traces its roots back five generations to 1826 in the Puglia region of Italy. Founded by Pasquale (Lino) Liuzzi, and his brother, and Nicola Liuzzi, their journey began over forty-five years ago when Lino immigrated to the United States. Lino harbored a dream of establishing a distinguished enterprise focused on crafting premium-quality cheeses and fine foods, inspired by the traditions initiated by his great-grandfather in the charming town of Noci, within the province of Bari, Italy. The Liuzzi Brothers, manifested their dream by establishing Liuzzi Cheese in the U.S., showcasing the family's fourth generation. With unwavering belief, they established Liuzzi Market in North Haven, CT, a modest beginning that has flourished over the past three decades. Their business has been nurtured by the collective efforts of family and close friends, and today, they proudly serve the local community with exceptional products reminiscent of their Italian heritage. Their Artisan cheese is meticulously crafted with the highest quality standards, utilizing only fresh ingredients sourced from local farms. Over the past five years, as successive generations of Liuzzi's have joined our thriving family business, we have expanded our presence to commercial and various retail outlets nationwide, upholding the ethical standards set by our patriarchs, Lino and Nicola. They remain dedicated to providing the same level of quality and product assurances that have garnered the trust and appreciation of their original loyal customers and all their new customers to come.
