Cabot Creamery

The farm families who own Cabot Creamery Cooperative love what they do. And they’ve been doing it for a long time—every single day since 1919. Cabot has thriving farms, strong communities, happy and healthy cows that produce the rich, buttery milk that we use to make Cabot’s award-winning cheese and dairy products. They are inspired by their customers who allow them to do what they do day in and day out. We believe that farms and the food they produce are vital to our communities, culture, and landscape. By using the freshest milk from our family farms, crafting our products with both tradition and innovation, and giving back 100% of profits to our members, our cooperative makes award-winning cheese and dairy products that are as good as good gets.Cabot Creamery achieved B Corp certification in 2012 and became the world’s first dairy cooperative to do so. This certification demonstrates a commitment to environmental and social impacts for consumers, employees and the cooperative of dairy farm families. For Cabot farmers, sustainability is a way of life. For generations, their farmers have found better ways to power their farms and care for the land and water.
